So true. California chards are way over priced. If I am drinking white, I go with a good Fume Blanc. I know it’s boring but that’s what I like. On the red side my favs are Pinot Noir, Burgundies, good cabs and rarel a great Merlot like from Duckhorn winery. Ridge red Zinfandel is also outstanding.
