Sadly, your story is all too common. Our “care”, ( and I use the term loosely) of elderly in this country is reprehensible. Nursing homes are like snake pits, sucking families dry of money and their loved ones of any dignity. Where is Erin Brokovivch when you need her? I bet most of these dumps are owned by a big corporation whose CEO who would never be caught enrolling his own mother in said institution.
