Sadly, I am not much of a handyman. I can do more than my father, but that was a low bar since I never even saw him change a lightbulb. Thanks to a friend who does most home repairs himself, I have picked things up throughout the years. But it reminds me of the joke when someone asks, “Can you fix a toilet, replace a light switch, etc?” The answer is “ No, but I can write a check.”
