Not all stay-at-home wives have paid help. This article seems to imply that being a mother and keeping a house is not real “work.” I find this attitude erroneous. I know many wives must work outside the home to afford make ends meet or afford a certain lifestyle. However, to imply that choosing this path is not real work is demeaning.
