Lisa, thank you so much for writing this. I was not diagnosed with CD until I was 67. However, like you, I am sure I have had it for years. After 3-4 hospitalizations with partial small bowel obstructions, and a Stelera failure, I had surgery in January 2022. Thankfully since then I have had no pan but intermittent severe diarrhea, usually 1-2 days after dining out. I am on a new television medication. My wife and I cancelled a trip to Europe because I can’t deal with the risks of this crap,(pun intended) while traveling.
