It is not enough to credit your pictures. You have to make certain they are also copyright-free (unless you took them yourself). I once wrote a story and took a picture off the web. I credited the website where it came from. However, months later, I was admonished by Medium since the website owner complained I had not gotten their permission. I apologized and never did that again.
