I never said ignore EVs, but one should view them realistically as being supported by government money and still fed mostly by fossil fuels. We are feeding terrorist countries by building hybrid car batteries. We could be energy independent again, were it not for the closing of Alaska sources of energy, other gas and oil exploration, and pipelines. Without that, you will forever be dependent upon the likes of Russia and middle east dictators as well.
