I abhor group chats (group texting), even with my family. As soon as I can exit, I will. However, my youngest daughter was insulted once because I chose to "Leave the conversation" without letting anyone else in the group know. She said this was "impolite." Thus, I now only choose to "mute" the conversation updates and then drop out. But I am old and believe watching plaintiff attorneys' commercials on television would be less torturous.
