As a doctor, I was always teaching- medical students, interns, residents, nurse practitioners, and PA’s. I loved it but perhaps that was because I did not “need” to do it as a living. My mother was a teacher and got an extra degree at Columbia Teachers College in the 1960s. She used to say “ Those who can do and those who can’t teach; and those who can’t do that teach teachers,”
